Worker Exposure Assessments

Using state-of-the-art industrial hygiene monitoring equipment,  surveys, assessments and exposure monitoring is performed following established protocols for airborne contaminants and
 physical hazards including:

  • Chemical gases and vapours

  • Asbestos

  • Particulates, fibers and fumes

  • Mold

  • Noise

Monitoring results are assessed to determine compliance with regulated limits and recommendations to control and minimize exposures are provided.

Indoor Air Quality

Sometimes referred to as sick building syndrome, poor indoor air quality in non industrial environments, such as offices or schools,  can cause occupant discomfort and adverse reactions.

Indoor air quality investigations are performed to determine the contributors of poor indoor air and include an inspection of ventilation systems and the affected spaces, gathering information from affected individuals, and performing monitoring for indoor air quality parameters and pollutants.  Wilco Health & Safety uses these and a variety of other investigative techniques to measure and evaluate indoor air quality.

Respirator Fit Testing

Wilco Health & Safety creates entire OH&S programs or specific program elements tailored to your organization’s needs, or if you need help in a specific area we can do that too.   If obtaining or maintaining a Certificate of Recognition (COR) is your goal, then OH&S programs can be tailored to meet the requirements of your certifying partner.

An OH&S Program is only as effective as how successfully it has been integrated into business processes.  Wilco Health & Safety recognizes the importance of continuity of OH&S programs by providing program support through education, customized procedures, forms, checklists, and other tools to assist in effective program integration.
